This is a hodge-podge blog post this week for a bunch of things I found helpful around this time of the semester. Take a scroll to remind yourself of all the important things that are occurring 😊

Next Semester Courses

It's official, next semesters courses have been published. Make sure to take a look to see what courses you will take. 

Advising Appointments

Don't forget to send an email to your adviser if you have any questions about courses, your status, or anything that might be relevant before you can enroll in the next set of courses. 

Midterms

We are almost to halfway point of the semester, that means midterms! Make sure to review your syllabi to see if any projects or exams are coming up. You won't want to be caught off guard during this busy time.

Grades

Just another reminder that your GPA must remain at or above a 3.0 to stay on good status in the MPA program. If you are worried about your GPA status, speak to your advisor or Missy Gish to see what options are available to you.

Capstone Portfolio

As professors return graded papers and assignments take a moment to save those files. These could be useful when it is time to put together your capstone portfolio. It is never to earlier to start preparing for this.

Print Money

As a student on NKU you have access to different "perks". One of these is print money. At the beginning of each semester students are given a set amount of money to use for printing items in Steely Library. Don't worry, this money also rolls over. It is there for you if and when you need it.

Graduation Application 

If you plan on graduating in the Spring semester the first deadline line for that is November 30th. Don't forget to apply for any credentials or certificates at this time to. There are other deadlines but the fee to graduate increases with every passing deadline.
