MPA Specializations

An MPA degree allows individuals to further their careers in many different specialized tracks. At NKU, the MPA program has 5 program tracks that students are able to choose from to match their needs. The tracks are:

• Nonprofit Management
• Homeland Security and Emergency Management
• Metropolitan Governance
• Public Leadership
• General Public Management

The General Public Management tracks allows students to their own specific track by choosing different specialized courses and other concentrations. 

By being able to choose among different tracks and specializations, MPA students and alum are able to go into many different career fields. The image below highlights just a few of the positions our program's alumni hold.
