What to Do While Staying Inside

Two weeks ago, our daily lives changed greatly. The stay at home order was implemented, and that left us trying to find things to occupy our free time. The following is the MPA Edition of what to do while staying inside:

• Make a list of all public parks you haven't visited, and make it a bucket list item to visit them all! We have student and alumni that work within the parks that could show you all the best spots!

                                            

• Break out the card game of water works! Our MPA family working in the water district could show you the best way to develop a winning water system!

                                                         

• Practice putting handcuffs on and off everything. Our alumni and students in police departments have some interesting stories from their field work. So be prepared, you never know what you'll have to handcuff!

                                                     

• How good are your economic development skills? Test them out in a game (or two) of monopoly! Any of our alumni and students in economic development could help you grow a thriving city!

                                         

• Put your detective skills to the test with a game of Clue! Our alumni in the field could give you a few pointers on how to solve the case!

                          

• Get a new perspective on how to help nonprofits by standing on your head! Our students and alumni in nonprofit careers could tell you how sometimes you just have to find creative ways to get the job done.         

                                       

• Brush up on your town's unique laws. Any of our MPA family working in legal departments could tell you how important it is to know your stuff and be update to date with the law.
