Spring Semester is Over!

Holy moly, it's finals week! I think it is safe to say that this spring semester has been the longest one in NKU history, all thanks to COVID 19. We went from a normal routine to quickly learning how to function in an online only environment and maintaining social distance if we did venture out.  Some aspects were easy to adjust to, and others were definitely a struggle. It was hard to have tournaments cancelled, gatherings postponed, and not being able to go grab dinner with friends. I know I have had a few events I was really looking forward be cancelled, and I know there are many others in the same boat. Although, the lack of laundry I have had to do has been nice, and I have enjoyed the extra quality time with family. So, even with all the disappoint and craziness there has been some good that has come out of this.

To all the seniors who are graduating, I wish you the very best as you move on to the next step in your lives! Hopefully, you all are able to celebrate accordingly with family and friends soon. I know this is not how you planned to end your time as a student in the MPA program, but I'm sure it has been a memorable experience and unlike any other graduation.

 

To all my other MPA classmates; with the spring semester over, I hope you are all able to catch your breath for a moment. Your accomplishments and ability to adjust will be beneficial and rewarding. If any of you are taking a summer class, like myself, I wish you the best and hope you are just as successful during that time. I look forward to when we are all able to gather again in class, the fall reception, spring banquet, and just for drinks. This program is definitely enhanced by the camaraderie we are able to develop, and it is one of the biggest pieces I miss. So, fingers crossed we can get together soon!
