September Already?
September Already?
2020 has been an interesting year for us all. We have experienced so many major events that it is hard to remember what actually happened this year.
Just in case you forgot, this year we have witnessed and experienced:
- Major bush fires in Australia
- The almost start of World War 3
- Prince Harry and Megan Markle stepping down from the thrown
- The Presidential impeachment trial
- The death of Kobe Bryant, his daughter and friends
- Brexit
- The Presidential race
- Protests
- COVID-19
- And so much more
So much has happened this year (and it's not over yet), that you're probably asking "how did all of this happen in only one year?" When I think back to the beginning of the year, I am shocked that so many major and historical events have occurred, and these events don't even begin to cover our individual lives. Friends and family have had to experience and celebrate major milestones in nontraditional ways. Graduations, senior nights, weddings, birthdays, anniversaries, etc. have all still occurred in virtual/social distanced manners. It's safe to say that 2020 will need it's own textbook for history class.
Even with all the twists and turns 2020 has provided, I'm looking at the calendar trying to figure how we are already in September? Is anyone else thinking the same thing? The year has been jammed pack but time has flown by. In the spring I knew I would need to apply for graduation and prepare for my capstone project and that seemed like aways away. Now it's time to gather my materials and accomplish these tasks. Which leaves me thinking "it's September already?"
