Buccaneers Super Bowl Win Celebration
Buccaneers Super Bowl Win Celebration
If you have not heard by now the Tampa Bay Buccaneers won this year's Super Bowl. All over social media this week, there have been videos and pictures of the Buccaneers celebrating their win along Tampa's coast. In one of the more viral videos, Quarter Back Tom Brady throws his Lombardi Trophy from the back of the boat he is on to his teammate on another boat. In true Brady fashion, the pass was complete but it got me thinking, what would have happened if it was an incomplete pass? The prized trophy would have likely ended up in the water, sinking to the bottom. What then? Who would lead that search and rescue mission? Who pays that bill? I have to believe that many local authorities would be called to the scene, and disrupt the everyday workings of public administration in Tampa. Although, who wouldn't want to be a part of the search and rescue team who finds the misplaced trophy? That would be a career highlight story. And let's be honest while normally public administration duties are paid through tax payers, Brady would likely foot the bill.
